GL Jones Playgrounds are based in a large four acre factory unit in Bethesda in the heart of beautiful Snowdonia, North Wales. We employ skilled craftsmen using only the very best equipment and materials, and nearly everything we sell is produced in-house from design to dispatch.

We were established in 1978 and have expanded continuously ever since. This family-led company have been designing and manufacturing some of the most ground-breaking playground equipment available on the market for over forty years.

From humble beginnings in a small village set in the picturesque surroundings of Snowdonia, GL Jones Playgrounds products can now be seen in all corners of the British Isles and are even found as far afield as Australia.

We have become market leaders winning numerous awards for excellence and technical innovation including the prestigious Independent Living Design Award for "Product Innovation" for our AbilityWhirl. The whirling platform is a part of our inclusive playground equipment that allows wheelchair users and children with special needs to play alongside able-bodied children in non-supervised open spaces.
