Knowledge Transfer Partnership Awards
GL Jones Playgrounds has been a part of Knowledge Transfer Partnership, with Grwp Llandrillo Menai creating one job and facilitate knowledge, technology and skills that the company didn’t have before.
On the 13th November GL Jones and Grwp Llandrillo Menai successfully won the Welsh KTP Partnership of the year Award, receiving the KTP Award trophy and a £3000 cheque in recognition of the work on new design processes that have allowed products to be manufactured more cost effectively and efficiently.
As a result of this partnership the company’s output has risen by 19% and market share by 7%. GL Jones and Grwp Llandrillo Menai were then finalists at the Best of the Best KTP Awards and came in second for The Best Partnership Award.
