This model has all the features of the L001-003 but with the Accessible Padlock replaced by the more sophisticated Accessible Lock as an integral part of the gate. This improvement eliminates the need to remove the lock when motorised wheelchair users pass through. The L004-004 has a hingeless post design allowing the gate to be fully opened in both directions to give clear access for motorised wheelchair users and small maintenance vehicles from both directions.

The Anti-Motorcycle Kissing Gate concept restricts access to motor cycles whilst still allowing pushchairs, standard wheelchairs and small maintenance vehicles through.

The specially designed self-closing mechanism has totally eliminated the need for dangerous springs or weights, with the added bonus of preventing dogs from accessing the play area. This along with the natural chicane of the gate, which helps to slow down children as they attempt to run out, makes this kissing gate a perfect access point to any playground.
