First manufactured in 1984 and still widely used, the L001 was initially designed for common land and urban footpaths often made dangerous for pedestrians by motorcycles. The Anti-Motorcycle Kissing Gate concept restricts access to motorcycles whilst still allowing pushchairs, standard wheelchairs and small maintenance vehicles through.

The specially designed self-closing mechanism has totally eliminated the need for dangerous springs or weights, with the added bonus of preventing dogs from accessing the play area. This along with the natural chicane of the gate, which helps to slow down children as they attempt to run out, makes this kissing gate a perfect access point to any playground.
